Privacy Policy

Short version: the calculator keeps your inputs in your browser, the contact form is the only place we collect anything directly from you, and ad and analytics vendors handle the rest through standard cookies. The longer version is below. Reviewed 2026-07-09.

What never leaves your browser

Frame material, window type, install method, ZIP code, and window count: everything you type into the estimator on the homepage runs in JavaScript on your own device. None of it is sent to a server, logged, or tied to you in any way. Refresh the page and it resets. The one exception is the optional permalink button, which encodes those same selections into the page URL so you can save or share your specific estimate; that link only exists if you choose to create one.

What we get when you contact us

The contact form and any quote-request link ask for a name, an email address, and whatever you type in the message field. That information goes to us and, for quote requests, to a matched local contractor, and it is used only to respond to you or connect you with that contractor. We do not add contact-form addresses to a marketing list.

Cookies and ad delivery

This site runs Google-served advertising and Google Analytics, both of which set cookies in your browser. Google and its advertising partners use that data to show ads based on sites you have visited before, including this one. You can turn off ad personalization through Google's Ads Settings page, and opt out of Analytics tracking with the official Google Analytics browser add-on. Visitors in the EU, UK, and Switzerland see a consent prompt before any non-essential cookie is set, and can change that choice later by clearing cookies for this site.

Who else sees this data

We do not sell the information you submit through a form. It passes only to the hosting, analytics, advertising, and (for quote requests) contractor-matching vendors needed to run the site and fulfill the request, and only for that purpose.

Retention and children

Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to answer you and for basic recordkeeping. This site is written for adults managing a home project and is not directed at children under 13; we do not knowingly collect information from anyone that age.
